Rainbow themes are great for children's birthday parties, for both boys and girls. They are colourful and happy and can be easily coordinated with other dominant colours for a more feminine or masculine feel.

LeSha from Lovely Moments Captured sent me these bright and fun images from a photo shoot featuring my Rainbow Birthday theme.

She used the straw flags, cupcake toppers and wrappers, labels and banner and she even used the coordinated papers that come with the party pack to make some cute water bottle wrappers.

Photo Booth Props

A few weeks ago I sent Rachel from Beauty Seen Photography some of my photo booth props and now she shared the great photos she took with them.
She used them at her church's Harvest Party last week. They had a Fall Photo Booth and the props were a nice addition.

My Party-Your Party! - Little Man Birthday

The Mustache theme keeps leading the rank of boy's birthday parties and is perfect for all little men celebrations.

This time, Aimee sent me some photos of her son's first birthday party. She made a custom order, with some changes to the banner, favour tags with custom text and a mini-bunting for the cake.

Everything turned out great and I'm happy to share the photos. I specially love the mini-bunting on the cake. So cute!

Pirate Party theme

The Pirate theme is always a favourite amongst boys’ party themes and this one is no exception. With a red, white and dark brown colour palette, this theme was inspired by an old treasure map and all the graphic elements were developed from there. The skull and the pirate ship had to be there and the white and red stripes tie it all together.

Lately I've been trying to improve the images of my listing on the Etsy shop but my photography skills and equipment were very limited, so I turned to a professional to give me a hand.

With a little help from my new friend Jessica Demling, my once plain and boring images were replaced by these wonderful photos, with beautifully styled sceneries and a perfect display of the products in use. I couldn't be happier with the final result!

Jessica used golden beads, old maps and coordinating papers to create a whimsical and magical feel, which were perfect for this theme!

Little Man birthday theme

Mustaches have been a big hit this year and our 'Little Man' party themes have been best sellers in the shop. For either a Baby Shower or a little boy's birthday party, they're the big favourites amongst the boys themes.

Alice used this 'Little Man' party theme to decorate her son's first birthday and has sent me this collage with some of the details of the party. I think it turned out adorable!
I especially love the chocolate mustaches and the overall colour coordination. Super cute!

Lazy weekend

It was a beautiful Friday here in Sydney, with temperatures reaching the 30's, Summer clothes, bare legs and iced drinks. It could have been a great way to start the weekend, if the weather hadn't changed later that afternoon, just like last week.
We were left with a cloudy sky and chilli temperatures that quickly dropped around 10 degrees.

After a glimpse of Summer, not being able to enjoy a warm sunny day at the beach was a little disappointing...

How come these hot days never come on the weekend?

Oh well...better days will come. And in the meantime, there's nothing wrong with spending a day relaxing on the couch or putting your apron on and baking some sweet treats.
